Principal’s Message
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Sunset Elementary School, a Gold Ribbon School, serving 400+ students in grades 4 and 5. We have a highly skilled and committed staff, an involved parent community and a beautiful campus. We have high expectations for all our students and believe the district motto, “TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.” We encourage you to be involved at our school and support your student’s education.
Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. The needs of our students is our top priority and they are best met when we work together. We look forward to a great year! I am frequently in classrooms, out on campus, and in meetings to support teaching and learning on our campus. Therefore, I am not always available to speak with you when you drop in or phone. If necessary, please schedule an appointment (face-to-face or telephone) so I can give you my undivided attention. Our secretaries are happy to greet you in the office, and to arrange meetings, or accommodate you with other concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns regarding your student or our programs here at Sunset Elementary School.
